Solution

Treatment

  • We carry out a full assessment of your general health, how your teeth fit together, your oral health and the density of your jaw bone using a CT scanner within the practice.
  • If we discover you have insufficient bone volume for implants, you may need a grafting procedure to allow for successful placement of the implants. If you are a suitable candidate, the titanium posts are surgically placed in the bone.
  • The implants will bond with the bone over a few months as titanium is very well-tolerated by the body. Once fully healed, we can fit your replacement teeth to the now firmly positioned implants.
Dental implants enhance the look and functionality of your mouth, allowing you to get on with your life without being embarrassed by missing teeth or ill-fitting dentures.

The advantages

  • Stay firmly in position
  • Help to stimulate the jaw bone, preventing bone loss
  • Confidence-boosting
  • Long-lasting

Information about the temporary practice closure and emergency treatments

As I am sure it may come as no surprise that we will be closing the practice following the recent guidance from the government and dental governing bodies.

The practice will be closed from Tuesday 24th March 2020 to ensure we are protecting you, our lovely patients as well as our staff.

If you have a dental emergency during this time and would like advice then please call the practice and a dentist on call will aim to call you back within a few hours. These arrangements will continue for the foreseeable future.

As a guide a dental emergency is:

  • Heavy bleeding that does not stop
  • Swelling/infection which makes it hard to breathe
  • Tooth that has been knocked out
  • Severe tooth pain

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support and stay safe.
Assuring you of our best attention at all times.

From all of us at Meadow Walk Dental and The Gallery Dental and Implant Centre.
