Patient Journey

We want you to feel supported and cared for at every stage of your journey.

Your initial consultation is the first step on your dental journey. This is your chance to tell us all about your expectations, any problems you may be having and if you are anxious about receiving treatment.

We take a good look at your mouth to detect any problems and learn all about your oral health.

We tell you what we have discovered, discuss your treatment options and let you know the associated costs. This is very much a two-way process – we want you to take a big part in making decisions about your own dental care.

We provide you with a dental plan which details everything we’ve discussed and given you tips to improve your oral health. This offers you the opportunity to mull everything over and make sure you are happy with our proposals.

When you’re ready to go ahead, we start doing what we do best – treating you.

When you’ve reached your destination – a happy, healthy mouth – you’ll want to keep it that way. That’s why we’ll let you know how to take good care of your teeth and gums, and when you should come back and see us for essential oral health examinations.

As well as making sure you are always kept fully informed, we never forget to keep listening to you, every step of the way.

Information about the temporary practice closure and emergency treatments

As I am sure it may come as no surprise that we will be closing the practice following the recent guidance from the government and dental governing bodies.

The practice will be closed from Tuesday 24th March 2020 to ensure we are protecting you, our lovely patients as well as our staff.

If you have a dental emergency during this time and would like advice then please call the practice and a dentist on call will aim to call you back within a few hours. These arrangements will continue for the foreseeable future.

As a guide a dental emergency is:

  • Heavy bleeding that does not stop
  • Swelling/infection which makes it hard to breathe
  • Tooth that has been knocked out
  • Severe tooth pain

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support and stay safe.
Assuring you of our best attention at all times.

From all of us at Meadow Walk Dental and The Gallery Dental and Implant Centre.
